October 2009
J.D. learned to play the harmonica from his father at a young age and grew up studying all the old blues masters. His voice is an instrument in of its own. J.D. now resides in New Orleans, La. being a Katrina survivor,he was one of the last to leave the French Quarter. He received the first home built in the musicians' compound and was shown all over the world on ABC, BBC, CNN, and many other news outlets and was featured in a Lincoln commercial with Harry Connick Jr.. He plays locally with Deacon John and makes a few excursions back to Texas where he recorded this album at Butch Bonners studio with Lucky Peterson sitting in on the session, and other players. I think you like me will listen to the songs on this album over and over.
Thank You,
